Hello Jim-

So an observation question here first before my comments about the adventure…

When you say that this adventure is by Jim Phillips, does this mean that the adventure is ran by that person or wrote by that person?

I looked at previous podcast information lines and it is looking like the latter. And if the latter, I see that you sure have written a lot of Call of Cthulhu adventure.

When do we get to see a downloadable of Jim’s Greatest Adventures?

Now on to the adventure at hand…

Very good plot and hook to start it off.

Very good group of players you had for this adventure.

I liked the way you took the players aside for a one-on-one.

The mechanics that you used for what each player received was very good. It kind of reminds me of the pick-a-path adventures; instead of just assigning them a trait and saying, “Here you go, this is what you get.” I used that in an adventure I had wrote; this way by road #1, road #1 or water.

I found the creature at hand nothing like I had envisioned it; I envisioned more of an umberhulk.

Had to rewind several times ¾ the way through as your description of the environment and what was going on was getting confusing. Eventually I caught just one word that made the difference and then it finally clicked into place.

The ending was very good for all three characters and very explainable.

Looking forward to see how this second playing of Power Corrupts runs.

Cheers

Hi Jim,

I've run your scenario "Legs" many times, I love it. Thank you for creating it.

I'm just wondering If you could share more info about "Power Corrupts" to make it a runable CoC adventure. Is it anywhere for sale as pdf?

Thanks

Hello, guys!
I've been an assiduous listener of yours; I think I've listened a great part of the podcasts, and I really appreciate it. Also, I want to say the great job done by Jim and Randall for keeping the Skype of Cthulhu so thrilling and interesting.
I'm in my 30s, and I have always played d&d, but after listening to you guys, I discovered a whole new world in CoC (a much more mature RPG than d&d). And now I'm playing CoC as keeper with my friends.

I think this specific podcast is the only one with a Brazilian character (or any Brazilian reference). Therefore, I'm looking forward to seeing more Brazilian characters and adventures held in Brazil (it is pointless to say that I am Brazilian).
Thank you all,
Cheers,
Victor.
PS: Randall, Alejandro is not a Portuguese name, this is Spanish, the Portuguese version is Alexandre ("x" pronouncing as "sshh") lol!

Hey Victor, thanks for the kind words. Jim did an amazing job with this scenario, I hope your words push him to publish it (no pressure, Jim, just pressure of the good one). I should have known that, I guess I was too sleepy to remember it, but hey! there will be a next Alexandre and I will use the "sshh" for sure. When Jim and I started playing 400+ episodes ago, I don't think neither of us thought that we would still be playing 5 years later, but here we are, and I believe now we have the most stable SoC crew of all our history, all of them top of the line players, so I hope to keep you interested until 800!
