Congratulations guys on finishing the beast (no pun intended) it was a real treat to hear the vast cast of characters make their way through this perilous adventure.
Randall did a fantastic job of running this and keeping it on track for all this time I was shocked to hear that it was a couple of years it no way felt that long, time flies when your having fun :).
If I had one complaint its that the ending was a little anti climatic though fun. I feel that meeting a god should be more lethal but I understand that its a hard balancing act making it dangerous but avoiding the disappointment of a T.P.K especially at the end of a long adventure.
I was also worried about what one of the players said about 7th that it makes it less likely that your Investigator will die. I'm not suggesting that Cthulhu should be a killer game but it is a game of cosmic horror where the heroes are normal Joes and not Paladins or mighty wizards and that's what makes it such an interesting game decisions have real consequences that cant be fixed with a Bennie.
Sorry for the rant you guys did a fantastic job and in fact I bought a copy of Legacy just hearing you guys having a blast in Rome so again thanks and long live the Empire.

Thanks, again for listening, Mark and for your kind words.

I agree with you on the anticlimatic ending, haven't Dan rolled that impale it would have been a TPK. I gave them 3 rounds to figure out what to do, and then Eihort was going to be on top of them. I was tempted to be cruel and let Corpus and Ilius (Dan's and Gary's) on the cave, but then gave him the Dex x 2 roll to get out and he passed. I think it was a mixed of good roles, and that I wanted to give them the satisfaction to be able to defeat the evil Eihort that they fought for almost two years
Regarding the rule Mike mentioned on 7ed, I have playtested it a few times and it doesn't seem to be the case, I guess the push optional rule may help but it is still as deadly as before, so rest assured the game won't change much. :)

Hello all-

Whew... 14 hours of A Second Theseus and finally the conclusion.

Randall did a good job with the food and wine situation to help the story along; if left up to the characters, it would never had happened.

Beginning of part 7 was played out beautifully by Randall.

Not too many battles occurred during these sections and the final battle was a bit of a let down.

Cheers
