A great adventure guys my hats off to you for doing a Monophobia adventure. Kudos to Dan for being the party of one as Cthulhu is scary enough in a large group.
Glad you liked it. This is actually the second time we've done a Monophobia scenario. The first time being #046, with Toni and I. Hopefully we'll get a chance to do the third one at some point - I find these to be pretty fun.
Thanks Jim!I appreciate you running these. You do a great job and its good to hear that someone enjoys these as much as I did writing/editing them.Marcus
Thanks Marcus, always nice to hear that the author likes how we played their Scenario!
Thanks Marcus. It was a good balance of "WTF do I do now?" and "I'm gonna rip your head off, you prick!" That was the only time I've played solo, and apart from my own flailing around, it was awesome.
Did not know how a one-on-one podcast would be, but to my surprise it came out pretty good.Dan played the adventure like a veteran and though he made a comment about not being able to fall back on others in the group, he held his ground and tanked forward.Plus Dan's little quips "do I have a compulsion to dance?" "sharks" were not an overkill, but just enough to make you want more. LOLOn the downside, I did have to listen to the podcast several times before I kind of figured out what was going on and how everything was linked together; later I found info on this adventure to read up on and understood it better. On the upside, Dan's marketing of his podcast has given me another CoC podcast to listen to. We've done all three of the Scenarios from the Monophobia book, and I like 'em. Definitely a different dynamic, but really fun.
