Okay - Not sure if my last comment post uploaded or was sucked into the void....
Jonathan - I am so glad you liked the Trellborg Monstrosities and 'ole Peebsy - That was a really fun one for all. Hopefully this will prove an interesting listen for you as well ;-) No Spoilers but would love to hear what you think after the fact.
Thanks again for the kind words and for following the SoC - We love to hear feedback like this - Glad we can keep y'all entertained!
Anyways… 7 months later… Finally got around to listening to it… Better late than never? LOL
Max did an outstanding job as a soloist. He did not need to fall back on anyone, spit out the information and asked the right questions in a timely manner.
What??? No Quantum Leap intro music this time Jim. LOL Though loved the transition music from day 1 to day 2. LOL
I prepped up for #212 by reading the scenario and relistening to Jim and Dan run #70. Listening to #70 again was just as good as the first time. Maybe have another play of the other two monophobias, Vengeance from Beyond and Robinson Gruesome? You up for it Max?
Geez… Max sure can write fast while Jim spits out the information. LOL
So I guess this Josephine #212 must be the daughter of Josephine #70 since #212 is a Miss and #70 is a Mrs? Oops on the blurbs. LOL
Nice strategy Max about wanting to hurt the other body while in it.
Looking forward to the next installment of Monophobias by Mark.
So glad you enjoyed listening, I most certainly enjoyed playing this one. It is a very good scenario in my opinion as it really imparts the horror and suspense onto the player. I would definitely be up for playing more of these that are out there :-)
Along those lines I would highly suggest picking up Alone Against the Flames from Chaosium. It is a super fun solo scenario to be played just by yourself like a "choose your own adventure" book. It semi teaches Seventh Edition and I believe it is free...
Thank you Max for introducing me to this solo adventure, Alone Against the Flames.
Good intro to seventh edition for the newbie.
Overall was a great adventure except for the following issue that got me confused.
I came upon entry 259 which talks about adding 20 to that new entry. To find out when you get to another entry, like 180, that asks, “this is the time to follow it up” that this is the time you add 20 to that entry. I was so confused on what they were asking. Luckily I came across 180 and this relieved my confusion.
OMG! I barely made it out alive. I ended up burnt for 11 out of 12 hp. As I was reading my results, I could feel the impending DOOM as each new entry got worse and worse.
It took me 79 entries to complete this adventure and get the HELL out of Emberhead.
Looking forward to another read and another solitaire adventure.
This definitely is an adventure for any level of Call of Cthulhu player.

Hmmm....
I saw this on the Facebook page and thought it was an error since this one has been played all ready.
I see Max is playing Josephine and look forward to listening to this one to compare how his talent is to when Dan played Josephine in episode 70.
If Max plays this one as good as he did in episode 149 The Trellborg Monstrosities, it should be awesome!
