I salute Randall for playing Nathan Chance in all three of these adventures so far and turning him from a slightly odd Pre-Gen at the start into the hero that he is now.

Thanks, Mark. This has been a difficult PC to play. Change is a scholar after all, with no experience in warfare, or limited, and he is sent as a leader of a group of experienced soldiers, that can never end well. :D I've been trying to roleplay it like that, and I think it has work so far. He gets the right reactions from the rest of the party.

I was going to listen to the loooooooong killer podcast Terror from the Skies.

But when I saw that the comical duo Special Agent Nathan Chance and Prof. Deacon Everett are in this one, I had to jump to this one first.

Looking forward to Randall not being present during an episode. (Must listen to Heroes of the Sea to understand this remark.)

Cheers

Whew! WOW! Finally got around to listening to this and not too many adventures make me want to pursue anything further, but it looks like I am going to have to go and pick up the novella from John Houlihan. Luckily enough I was able to download it for free. That $2.99 would have collapsed my empire. LOL

Jim does a great job as he smoothly explains and lays out the scenes one by one; followed quickly by the players filling in the gaps and feeding off of each other. Several of the players add some good life to their PC’s, as well as Jim does playing a creepy NPC (Seraph). Good combat, awesome Miss Rodger’s death and sanity opportunities

OMG. Right off the bat, Agent Chance was not there to speak his own mind; so I guess Professor Everett has to help him out. LOL Episode 100, Big Sky Country, had voted Shannon’s PC, Curly Mosely, as one of the best. I think that his rendition of Professor Deacon Everett stomps Curly Mosely to shame! Along with his role play of when Agent Chance is not there. LOL

Loved Max’s ability of breathing life into his character Cpl. Paul ‘Peebs’ Barker. Lots of fun quips and harmless name calling. Looking forward to more of his different PC’s, as well as him as a Keeper.

I have been listening to other groups of podcasters playing some Call of Cthulhu and other RPG’s and by far Skype of Cthulhu’s audio quality (Though the wrath of Skype keeps them in line every once in awhile; MMMWWWHAHAHA) and game play is by far one of the best. The others turn into Friday night drunkfests, annoying background noises at a bar and dinner table with clinking of plates. Just wanted to listen to the game and not extra garbage.

The ending seemed to be a ‘wind out of the sails’ since the PC’s did not partake in the final battle; though a good meaningful ending.

Cheers

Jonathon,

Thanks again for the kind words - So glad to hear how much you liked the way I played 'ole Peebsy. As for me Keeping, the Tremulus campaign has an episode up if you haven't checked it out, definitely different but I think its a really fun time as well if you like the character development aspect. Shannon does another really great voice ;-)

Really hope you enjoy yourself on Terror from the Skies too, it was a great time all the way through

Regards,
Max
