I hope you do return to this one as it really seems an interesting story and Delta Greenish settings are always fun.

Hi Mark, yes, we have some tentative dates to continue with this scenario. It is very interesting indeed.

Yay and other sounds of happiness.

It might have been fun to have people act out calling in sick, but maybe that would set the wrong tone. Anyway, enjoying this series!

Thanks George. Edwin is definitely doing a great job keeping this interesting as we continue to flounder around avoiding anything resembling an actual clue.

So why is Jonathan’s intro being played for a different Keeper? Grr… Nice beginning music though. I can picture an intro TV show with a Mexican setting, hot desert blinding sun and short clips of agents with guns drawn.

After listening to this long podcast, mostly talking and no action, it seemed to come across as a Top Secret/Spycraft scenario. I saw in the comments that Mark made about it being a Delta Greenish setting, but since I do not know that setting I guess it could be. It seems that these later podcasts happen to be an adventure with the Call of Cthulhu name thrown on it and hopefully it comes across as a Call of Cthulhu adventure. More sanity, more shooting, more…

I do not think that I have heard Edwin yet as a Keeper and he did a great job. He led the group along fairly smoothly all the way to the end. I loved the description of the church and could envision its construction and how big it was. It reminded me of playing Pow-Pow (Tomb Raider) with my son and I would look at some of those structures and say, “Who in the heck would build these things?” I definitely look forward to more Keeper Edwin in future podcasts.

Players should try to play their characters more with tattletales of what their nationality, sex and quirks are. Only one close enough was Jim and his female agent Amelia

Ah, Amelia. She was certainly a fun character to play. Thanks Jonathon.

Thanks for the feedback! I had a great time running the lads through it. It being present day made it easy to grab photo, maps and even near-real-time rumors and stories from the Internet. I think that helped a lot, especially since we were all on computers anyway.

As to Delta Green, I didn't write it for DG for two reasons. At the time I didn't have the source material or the rules, but I also didn't want to bring in any investigators with Mythos knowledge. I wanted to write with the classic structure of having a bunch of regular Janes and Joes (or GI Janes and Joes, in this case) get into to something so deep they couldn't back out before they discovered or really even had hints of any otherworldly activity. They just didn't happen to be civilians in this case.

I thin I'll be running some more in the not too distant future - keep your ears tuned!
