Rich folks gather for a swank party in the Hamptons to welcome a Chadwick family member back from his time in the asylum. The hostess, Mrs. Chadwick, asks a group of total strangers to recover her wayward daughter from college.

As I started listen to this one, it was sounding so familiar that I thought that I had listened to this one all ready. I heard later that someone stated that there was a prelude to this one.
If so, what episode is the prelude that the Chadwick’s are in?
I looked through the episodes and found Edgar Chadwick in The Devil’s Music 097. Is this the episode?
Brendan does a great job with this adventure. Very well laid out and realistic to seeing that it could actually happen; to me this is what makes it scarier. It seems that it is a given if you want some good scary myth creatures to go Japanese.
Love the Jonathan’s intro that you put together. “I thought we agreed we were going to call it the Edgar Allen “Po”cast.” LOL
So I never did realize this until I heard this episode, but Jonathan does an exquisite job in painting the scene. The way that he box text narrates is pure genius.
Though a lot of good praise here, Jonathan still has to watch his and, um, ehs, when he talks. Maybe some helpful hints from Jim.
Jim does a great job playing a secondary (in the background) character for Randall’s Mickey character.
Found some pics of this adventure on the Goodman Game website and those gave some great visuals. Plus there is a hyperlink there sending you to Skype of Cthulhu’s A Dream of Japan episodes.
Hope Dan gets caught up and is back soon. He is always good for his quirky quips.
Looking forward to a sequel to this one.
Maybe this time the group can summon a Great Old One and watch all hell break loose. :-)
