Providence, Rhode Island

People around the investigators are dying. Is it just coincidence, or have the investigators finally made one too many enemies? And will they be targeted directly?

Hello all-

Well off to the races with 15 hours and 35 minutes of fun, excitement, and intrigue with you all in Jim Phillips's Body of Work.

But sorry to say that this first episode I am going to have to give you all 2 Z's as I fell asleep twice listening to this episode because of all of the slowness and dead air between talking.

I do not know what was going on if everyone was not into the adventure or if the players did not know what to do, but everyone seemed like a group of newbies sitting around the table for the first time waiting to kill the big red dragon.

I have listened to a lot of your episodes so far and I do not remember Mike, but I do remember listening to the others; David, Randall, and Seth; and I am pretty sure they are not a bunch of newbies.

But of course the funny comments are still there: loading up the arsenal of weapons just for the funeral, brownie recipe, not Oliver North, etc...

And I am looking forward for Randall's character to drive a car. ;-)

Hopefully the podcast gets into 2nd gear as there is still 13 hours and 9 minutes left in the 6 remaining episodes.

Cheers

Oh, well. My car driving skills have never been my prime, nor the jumping, climbing or other critical rolls. You will see what I am talking about at the end of that set of scenarios. :)

Dead air - I think Jim clears now the dead air, plus these are the early episodes where we had a lot of issues with Skype, so we had some lags and what-not. I hope you enjoy the rest.

Thanks for your words, Jonathon.

Hi, I recently started to follow you and I'm running through everything from the very start of it. I particularly liked this bit, Randall's true sadness for the death of the NPC he saved from oblivion. Jim purposedly gave him new life using him as his character for Randall's scenario only to brutally kill him to start the next one with a maximized emotional impact. I loved it, the true essence of Chtulhu.

By the way, I didn't know that the "with Mussolini trains were on time" phrase is used outside Italy aswell. Cool, in a way.

Thanks for listening Marco. That was a great scene all the way around.
